Damn straight. Look, the truth is that Rifts has an awesome setting, great ideas and unparalleled possibilities.

The problem is that it's got a horrible system (Palladium's rule system is a joke) and a creator who is still stuck in the 80's.

Rifts could have been great if Siembieda had admitted the truth to himself- that he's a great "idea" guy, but not so great at turning his ideas into reality.

He could still save the game if he'd only let go of the reins... have a contest to see who can come up with a good, viable system to turn all the creative juice into a playable game, and watch the sales soar. Make realistic deadlines, hire competent editors (the guy can't even write a good sentence!) and Rifts just might outsell every other game system out there.

We need Rifts 2.0! The problem is, Kevin wants everything done HIS way, not the RIGHT way. Sometimes his way may be the right way, but when those things conflict- he needs to learn to admit his shortcomings and leave it to others to shine where he falls short.
