Marvel Superheroes: Grizzlor
The Evil Horde was the best thing that happened to MotU ever since they were released. As a digusting side story, when I first got the main three characters (Hordak, Leech, and Grizzlor) at Christmas, I was also sucking down Hershey’s bars three at a time. Leech had a sucker that you had to lick to make him stick to stuff. Every since I first opened him until the day that I finally blew him up in a roll of black cats, he tasted like old chocolate.
Anyways, here’s the berserker Grizzlor … my favorite of the Horde. I have to admit as you can see with Beastman last week, I’m an animal lover.

The crossbow deals IN (40) Force damage and provides a -3CS against potential Stun results. Grizzlor prefers to stun his enemies from ambush and then move in to finish them with his claws and teeth.
Natural Weaponry: Grizzlor has teeth and claws that inflict IN (40) Edged damage. Despite his animal nature, Grizzlor is a patient hunter and will use his ranged weapons until he scores a critical advantage such as a Stun to move in and finish his opponent by tearing them apart.
Weapon Pack: Grizzlor carries several blades in his shoulder satchel with a range of 6 areas and RM (30) Edged damage. These weapons sometimes include special devices, such as tracking beacons, explosives, or other forms of attack depending on his mission or available resources.
Berserker: Upon entering combat, Grizzlor can unleash a battle fury that affects his abilities as indicated above. During this frenzy, he also gains Iron Will of EX (20). His berserker fury lasts 1-10 rounds during which he must continue attacking nearby foes. If there are no nearby enemies, then he will begin attacking the closest opponent, including allies.

Hyper Hearing: He has super sensitive hearing and can use this power to detect hidden or invisible opponents with RM (30) intensity. Sonic attacks directed at Grizzlor are +1CS for damage.
Body Armor: Grizzlor’s body is extremely durable and provides EX (20) protection against physical, energy, fire, and cold attacks.
Hyper-Running: The bestial warrior can run in great strides that quickly outpace normal people. He possesses TY (6) land speed.
Talents: Marskman, Bows.
Contacts: The Evil Horde.
HISTORY: Recruited into the Evil Horde for his savage ferocity, Grizzlor is a loyal and effective henchman. He was first spotted by Horde Prime on a distant jungle planet and added to the horde. He cannot speak, but possesses keen animal cunning. Grizzlor is completely loyal to the Evil Horde and in particular to his master, Hordak.
At one time in Eternia, Grizzlor was thought to just be an Eternian legend told at night to scare children. The truth of his existence was revealed when he attacked and defeated Man-At-Arms, Teela, Buzz-Off, and Fisto by himself with the initial arrival of the Evil Horde in Eternia.
Grizzlor is a savage warrior and cares nothing for human life. He is a fierce rival to Beast Man and they seek each other out on the field of battle whenever possible.
NOTES: Since the Evil Horde was primarily featured in the She-Ra cartoon and in the mini-comics released with the figures, I erred on the side of the comics … or coolness. As always, I do not own the copyright for this material, game system, or the artwork. This material is not for sale and is fan contribution.
