So many people succumb to the pressures of the childhood you had and lash out or truly underachieve (skipping college level classes isn't exactly underachieving) as a coping mechanism. To see how successful you've become and the wonderful relationship you have with your wife and child (with little/no guidance or example to follow from your own childhood) is neat.
